UPDATE: Former President Corazon Aquino passed away at 3:15 AM this morning, August 1, 2009. RIP.

I am one with the nation in praying for the immediate recovery of President Cory Aquino.

She has already been through a lot as a mother, wife and president of this country. Enough now.

For once, let us all be united in prayer to ease her pain. It may sound like a long shot but let us take comfort in the fact that miracles do happen everyday.

The following is an excerpt from Barrio Siete:

  1. Create an entry entitled: “Touch a blogger: Tie a yellow ribbon for Cory Aquino!“. A link to this original entry will be appreciated, but is not required.
  2. Post a yellow ribbon in your blog for President Cory Aquino. Whatever form of yellow ribbon that your creative imagination can come up with.
  3. Invite other bloggers to tie a yellow ribbon for Cory.

Not being negative here but prayers won’t make her well… No matter how much healing masses will be held for her, it won’t work!

Kung gusto nilang gumaling si Mrs. Aquino, they should go to their rooms, turn down the lights, and pray silently…

Even you guys, na nagpopost ng yellow ribbons sa blogs nila, that won’t work… Say silent prayers for her… No offense to anyone but as the bible says, prayers made in public won’t be answered…

hi kurog! thanks for posting your opinion. i respect that. 🙂

on my part, these are desperate times. lahat ng paraan na pwedeng gawin ng mga taong concerned kay pres. cory ay ginagawa nila just to help her in their own little way.

by the end of the day, it’s always the thought that counts. 🙂

wow. malakas ang loob ni kurog na mag-speak up. i highly respect ur position and i have to agree, but i question ur sense of timing. there r a lot people that r, obvoiusly, emotional about this. it might be insensitive to voice that at this time.

whew! it’s getting hot in here. in a way, tama din si mr. nonsense. we can’t expect people to be silent about this matter. cory has been an influential figure in our country’s history and freedom.

anyways, everyone’s opinion is welcome here.
